Canadian Mountain Holidays’ six backcountry lodges in British Columbia provide plenty of pampering, from a soak in the rooftop hot tub overlooking the northern Selkirk Mountains at Monashee Lodge to 24-hour access to freshly baked cookies, courtesy of the resident pastry chef. But the real extravagance is access to the mountains themselves. In summer, look out for the alpenglow on a six-night lodge-to-lodge tour. (We went from the Monashees to the Adamants.)
