Bill Spurr, the restaurant critic for The Chronicle Herald in Halifax, checked Texas off his list this year on his mission to eat barbecue in every state in the U.S. NEW BRUNSWICK George Wybouw is a supporter of all things gastronomic, including the local Slow Food movement and Moncton’s Multicultural Festival and Gala Dinner. QUÉBEC Robert Beauchemin is a long-time restaurant critic, food writer and columnist at Montreal’s La Presse. Rémy Charest has been a food and wine writer for eight years and reviews Quebec City restaurants for Le Devoir. Sarah Musgrave, The Gazette’s casual dining critic, is the author of Montreal’s eating guidebook Resto à Go-Go. Alix Renaud, a poet and novelist, has been the Quebec weekly Voir’s food critic for the past decade.
