Kyle Shaw edits The Coast, Halifax’s weekly newspaper, which publishes restaurant reviews and the annual Best of Food readers’ survey.

Bill Spurr, the restaurant critic for The Chronicle Herald in Halifax, checked Texas off his list this year on his mission to eat barbecue in every state in the U.S.


NEW BRUNSWICK

George Wybouw is a supporter of all things gastronomic, including the local Slow Food movement and Moncton’s Multicultural Festival and Gala Dinner.


QUÉBEC

Robert Beauchemin is a long-time restaurant critic, food writer and columnist at Montreal’s La Presse.

Rémy Charest has been a food and wine writer for eight years and reviews Quebec City restaurants for Le Devoir.

Sarah Musgrave, The Gazette’s casual dining critic, is the author of Montreal’s eating guidebook Resto à Go-Go.

Alix Renaud, a poet and novelist, has been the Quebec weekly Voir’s food critic for the past decade.

Jean-Philippe Tastet, the restaurant critic for Voir in Montreal, oversees its annual Guide Restos Voir.


ONTARIO

Linda Bramble is a Niagara region wine educator and journalist who writes on wine and food travel.

Ron Eade has been the Ottawa Citizen’s food editor for nine years.

Don Ellis runs Martiniboys, a guide to restaurants, clubs and other matters of urban survival in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. martiniboys.com

Pierre Jury is a restaurant critic who co-hosts Rogers Television’s Portion Double in Ottawa.

Eleanor Kane founded the non-profit Stratford Chefs School 23 years ago and owns Stratford, Ontario’s the Old Prune Restaurant.
