Harold Rhenisch was born in a blizzard in British Columbia in 1958. Rhenisch, who has been entering the CBC Literary Awards competition since 1979, lives in Campbell River on northern Vancouver Island. His most recent book is Return to Open Water: Poems New & Selected.
